Sustainability Village

The Castlegregory Agricultural Show is thrilled to introduce our very own Sustainability Village – a dedicated space for showcasing practical, innovative, and community-driven solutions that promote a greener, more sustainable way of life, both on the farm and at home. Join us in building a greener future!

Competitions

Castlegregory Agricultural Show hosts competitions for Horses, Ponies, Cattle, Sheep, Poultry, and Horticulture, including Qualifiers for National Championships.

We also host competitions for traditional and heritage skills including Flower Arranging, Baking, and Art & Craft for Adults and Kids, including a Scarecrow competition. See our competition page for details on how to enter. All judging takes place on Show Day with winners announced throughout the day.

We also invite kids to bring a hobby horse and enter our Hobby Horse Gymkana!

Finally, we are excited to invite you and your dog to take part in our Fun Dog Show.

Stalls and exhibitions

Castlegregory Agricultural Show hosts a vast range of Trade Stands and Information Stalls for everything from agricultural and heritage to craft, toys, and face-painting. The show also hosts sheepdog demonstrations and set dancing.

Live Music

Traditional music from Timmy and James, and on the stage, Castlegregory legend, Mulligan.

Kids activities

Bouncy castles and games including our famous Hobby Horse competiton.

Vintage tractors and machinery

Following our charity tractor run that takes place in the evening before the Agricultural Show, we host a wide range of vintage tractors and farm machinery.
